Think Tank – A Strategic Brainstorming Session

Assam down town University held a Think Tank, a dynamic brainstorming session intended to unite creative minds to address practical business difficulties, as part of LUMOS 2024.

This collaborative session, saw 45 participants collaborate in teams to examine complicated challenges, devise effective solutions, and present their results. Ms. Pampi Das, Dr. Tanima Tarafdar, and Dr. Swagata Devi made up the esteemed panel that assessed the participants' capacity for critical thought, inventiveness, and strategy-making. Think Tank was a true reflection of Assam down town University's commitment to nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving skills among its students.

Echoes of Reason – A Debate for Change

LUMOS 2024, Echoes of Reason stood out as a thought-provoking debate competition that challenged participants to dive deep into pressing societal issues.

The event centered around a crucial topic: "Improving the socio-economic status of women is the only way to eradicate crimes against women in India." Forty passionate debaters engaged in well-researched and persuasive arguments, presenting their perspectives on this important social issue. Judges Dr.Dimpy Pathak Das and Dr. Tridisha Bayan, alongside moderator Avayjeet Paul, assessed the participants on their critical thinking, clarity, and ability to argue both sides of the issue. Echoes of Reason was more than just a debate; it was an exploration of ideas that could lead to real change in society, showcasing Assam down town University's focus on nurturing intellectual debate and social awareness.
