This paper spans some central areas of interest such as: Memory, Forgetting, Learning etc. It also familiarizes the students of psychology with the most essential fundamental physiological processes underlying psychological events.
Developmental Psychology is the scientific study of how and why humans grow, change, and adapt across the course of their lives. Originally concerned with infants and children, the field has expanded to include adolescence, adult development, aging, and the entire lifespan. It focuses on human growth and changes across the lifespan, including physical, cognitive, social, intellectual, perceptual, personality and emotional growth.
This course provides a scientific introduction to the brain's anatomy and function. It builds a foundation for understanding sensory and motor systems, brain rhythms and brain plasticity. Essential neurophysiological processes that underlie topics such as human development, cognitive and emotional behavior, gender, and psychological disorders will be presented.

Prior to starting out the third semester, students must complete at least 30 days of block internship with hospitals, organizations, or clinics under a clinical psychologist/psychiatrist.
