Assam down town University is proud to share that our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Narayan Chandra Talukdar, was invited as a distinguished guest speaker at the International Conference on “Sustainability in Higher Education: Integration of Local and Global Knowledge,” held on 19th April 2025 at Sukuna Multiple Campus, Nepal.

Representing the university on an international stage, Prof. (Dr.) Talukdar delivered an insightful address on “Integrating Traditional Knowledge into Higher Education for Sustainable Development.” He highlighted the significance of indigenous knowledge systems, particularly traditional agricultural practices from Northeast India in developing innovative and locally relevant solutions to global sustainability issues. His impactful participation reinforced Assam down town University’s dedication to sustainability and academic excellence, also furthered our efforts in building meaningful global partnerships.
