Assam down town University celebrated International Women’s Day With free health screening camp!

Assam down town University in collaboration with down town hospital, successfully celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing a free health screening camp for women. The event was spearheaded by the Faculty of Paramedical Sciences, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Science, and the Outreach Committee of Assam down town University. 

The free health screening camp provided crucial healthcare services at no cost. The camp included comprehensive health check-ups such as blood pressure measurement, random blood sugar testing, physiotherapy screening, dietary consultations, eye examinations, and hemoglobin tests. A dedicated team of medical professionals from down town Hospitals, along with faculty members and student volunteers, actively contributed to the initiative. The program benefited over 100 women, reinforcing the importance of preventive healthcare and overall well-being.

Through this initiative, Assam down town University once again demonstrated its commitment to women's empowerment and holistic healthcare, ensuring better health outcomes for the community.
