On behalf of Assam down town University, we are delighted to share the outcomes of our recent faculty exchange programme at Siam University, Bangkok, led by Deepali Borthakur,Associate Dean (I/c)- Academic Collaboration, Leadership and Faculty Development.

The 5-day programme focused on cultural and academic exchange, exploring Hindu mythology and its relevance across different contexts. The highlights included interactive sessions with the President and International Affairs department, classes on Hindu mythology with International MBA and local Thai students, discussions on cultural similarities and differences and a Yoga Day celebration and visit to local attraction spots.

The programme yielded several positive outcomes, including enhanced cultural understanding, academic collaboration opportunities, broadened perspectives, networking opportunities, and promotion of well-being. This initiative enriched the academic and cultural experiences of all participants, and we look forward to continued collaboration and mutual growth!
